CREATE THE LIFE YOU WANT

Grow stronger & better together

GB Goettsch helps people become better for themselves and others through humility, belief in God,
family connections, community engagement, and meaningful support for veterans.

Community gathering

My grandfather, Henry Goettsch, my father’s father, worked on Mount Rushmore. H. Goettsch worked on Mount Rushmore from 1927 to 1941. Goettsch was among the workers who contributed to the carving of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, which took place over a 14-year period from October 4, 1927, to October 31, 1941, under the direction of sculptor Gutzon Borglum and later his son, Lincoln Borglum. During this time, nearly 400 men and women labored on the project, performing tasks such as drilling, dynamiting, and fine sculpting to create the 60-foot-high depictions of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln.
